Mt. Flight to Everest
The Mt. Everest scenic flight usually lasts about an hour. The flight is operated from Kathmandu. During the flight, on a clear day, you will get a glimpse of the 20 highest peaks in the east of Nepal, starting from Langtang Peak, which is the closest peak to Kathmandu, then moving towards Mount Everest in the east, and finally flying to Chamlang Peak. From there, the plane makes a turn, and passengers get a second look at the sight as they head back to Kathmandu. The Mt. Everest scenic flight not only allows you to enjoy fantastic views but also helps you observe the geography of Nepal. While on board, you will receive a ‘Himalayan Peaks’ map from our flight attendant. This map contains information about the different peaks that you will see during the mountain flight. You will also receive a briefing from our flight attendant on the visible mountains. You will see astonishingly beautiful mountains that are above 8000 meters, such as Cho-Oyu, Shisha Pangma, Mt. Everest, and Lhotse, from an airplane window seat. After completing the Mt. Everest flight, you are provided with a personalized Everest Experience certificate for each passenger.
